Practicing different lighting techniques & angles in my living room with a few still life photos of things around my apartment. I tried to start by using only one object at a time, but found it boring so started stacking and combining them.
Overall, happy with the results. I had some exposure issues, something that I continue to work on in practice. Enjoying in particular the hatchet, journal, camera image posted first, and even though the ice & ribbon image doesn’t really ‘feel’ like my style, I like how it turned out as well. This is the first session I’ve had where I intentionally recorded my camera settings and the lighting set-up for each exposure, which has helped greatly in identifying issues and troubleshooting some of the quirks of film work that up until now had escaped me. Looking forward to more of these sessions in the future.
