Duluth in Winter / Early Spring

Sometime in February and then later in March we drove twice up to Duluth. It’s been one of those perpetually weird winters where there’s lots of snow but in-between heavy snowfalls there’s unpredictable other weathers blowing through. One morning had dense, wet fog that coated all of the trees with thick white frost. Driving from the cities, the roads were free from ice but the trees that enclosed the road became whiter and whiter as we drive further north – creating hoar frost on everything.
